Driver Package V1.81 contains the following feature enhancements and fixes:

Driver Version# 5.12.1.1103
Feature Enhancements:

* Installer now fully installs Digital Audio System drivers on any machine that meets minimum hardware requirements, including those that do not have previous Digital Audio System software installed.
* Added 88.2 kHz and 176.4 kHz support to products using E-MU 0404, 1212M, 1820 and 1820M PCI hardware. (NOTE: Also requires PatchMix DSP V1.81 or later)
* Added support for up to 8 channels of audio playback through the E-DSP Wave device. This allows the digital audio system to play certain types of multi-channel content (WAVE_FORMAT_EXTENSIBLE format) (NOTE: Also requires PatchMix DSP V1.81 or later)
* Changed buffer latency selection choices in the ASIO Control Panel to offer more granularity at lower latencies

Fixes:

* Fixed bug where hardware latency values displayed in certain ASIO applications (such as Cubase SX 3 and Nuendo) were not accurate.
* Fixed bug where Audio Dock would sometimes not power up properly on a system boot.

E-MU PatchMix DSP version V1.81 contains the following feature enhancements and fixes:

E-MU PatchMix DSP Version V1.81 Feature Enhancements:

* Added Multi-channel WDM playback support for all Digital Audio Systems. (NOTE: Also requires E-MU Digital Audio System Driver Patch 1.81 or later)
* Added Import/Export of Core FX Presets and Multi FX Presets
* Added 88.2 kHz and 176.4 kHz sample rate support to E-MU 0404, 1212M, 1820 and 1820M Digital Audio Systems (NOTE: Also requires E-MU Digital Audio System Driver Patch 1.81 or later)
* Added "Load FX on Startup" option (when disabled, the loading of FX preset data is deferred until first launch of FX Palette.This greatly shortens PatchMix launch time on startup.)
* New temporary session and session saving behavior

Fixes:

* Fixed Application crash that happens when using the "Fast User Switching" feature in Windows XP
* Fixed bug where PatchMix would sometimes show meter activity but no sound would be heard
* PatchMix will now specifically prompt an error if the user creates, deletes or renames FX categories that contain characters that are not legal in the file system.

雖然沒有用Emu的卡...不過大致上翻一下

Driver Package V1.81的部份

新功能有
* 會完整安裝數位音訊系統(Digital Audio System)驅動程式
* E-MU 0404, 1212M, 1820 以及 1820M加入了88.2 kHz 以及 176.4 kHz 的支援 (需要
安裝 PatchMix DSP V1.81或之後的版本)
* 支援透過E-DSP Wave裝置播放8聲道音訊，因此可以使用數位音訊系統播放一些多聲道
的格式 (WAVE_FORMAT_EXTENSIBLE格式) (也需要安裝PatchMix DSP V1.81或之後的版本)
* 改變了ASIO控制面板中的緩衝延遲時間選擇(buffer latency selection)以提供較
小單位的低延遲時間可選擇。(這句不確定啦.. :eeh:

)

修正的部份：

* 修復在某些ASIO程式中硬體延遲時間值顯示不正確的問題(像是Cubase SX 3 以及 Nuendo)
* 修復開機時Audio Dock不會正常開啟的問題。

E-MU PatchMix DSP version V1.81的部份

功能加強：

* 所有的數位音訊系統(Digital Audio Systems)都支援了多聲道WDM播放(需要安裝E-MU Digital Audio System 1.81版驅動程式更新)
* 加入Core FX預設值以及Multi FX預設值的匯入/匯出功能
* E-MU 0404, 1212M, 1820 以及 1820M的數位音訊系統(Digital Audio Systems)加入了88.2 kHz 以及 176.4 kHz的取樣比支援(也是需要安裝E-MU Digital Audio System 1.81版驅動程式更新)
* 加入了 "開機時載入FX"的選項 (如果停用的話，載入FX預設值時就需要先等待FX Palette啟動。所以這個選項可以減少開機時PatchMix的啟動時間)
* 有新的臨時session以及節省session的方法

修正部份：

* 修復了在使用Windows XP的"快速使用者切換"時的當機問題
* 修復了有時PatchMix的計量板有顯示動作但是卻沒有聽到聲音的問題。
* 如果使用包含非法字元的名稱設定FX類別時，PatchMix會顯示錯誤提示

剛剛把兩個都升級成1.81版。最大的感覺是新版軟體的聲音比以前柔和。

先裝PatchMix , 然後接著灌Driver , 再重開機.
重開機後記得Load回你原本的Session..

*This installer will automatically uninstall any older versions of software before installing new version.

Driver的下載頁中也沒有說要先移除

儘管如此…依照「暈倒」系統的慣例
還是先將舊驅動移除來的安全些… :ale:

EMU的檔案要安裝很久

感覺起來是製作很嚴謹的

自爆...
剛剛裝PatchMix弄了老半天總是裝到一半就應用程式錯誤...
結果手動先移除舊版PatchMix後就順利灌完了... :mad:
