I,_________________________(Please Print), hereby testify as an independent authenticator, that all of the damages claimed below are true and accurate after my physical inspection of this Tascam CD-401 unit with the serial number of “230303 913” manufactured by Teac Corporation Japan in July 1991.
This unit has a crack on one end of the CD transport, signs of tarnish on various locations including the transport itself and the chassis indicating possible physical abuse and lack of care in the past. I have tried playing Redbook standard CDs on this unit and this Tascam unit seems to report back with “NO DISC” for about half of the discs I tried to play, and on the few CDs that it plays, nominal vibrations transferred to this player can cause it to skip. This player also suffers the tendency of not being able to pick up signals from the exterior parts of most discs, resulting in loss of the last tracks.
Since the digital and analogue circuits seem to be in fair condition, I suspect of this problem to be caused by possibly the loss of adequate physical damping, and the malfunction of the Sony laser pickup system that this unit utilizes. The optic servo is in fine cosmetic condition, but I am certain that it does not function properly from the signs observed above.
As far as visible flaws go, this unit has numerous minor scratches on the top chassis, and a rather worn/tarnished bottom. There are noteworthy amounts of wear and rust on the stereo analogue RCA outputs, the digital RCA output, and the two XLR outputs; although the most significant rust build-up is found on the fader input jack.
The photographs enclosed should confirm and explain the damages claimed if not already covered.

不知道有沒有什麼可以建議更改的?
感覺這樣寫的還算蠻客觀的...
拿去找個可以信任的人看看要簽名大概就好了..
最近問了另一個Ebay會員.. 得到回應是說Authenticator應該可以是任何人的...
並不需要是懂機器的維修人員... 只要有人肯簽名肯作證就好了...
不知道是不是真的.. 不過目前就先醬子吧...
