Gamma headphones are NOT bad, actually! I own two pairs of Gamma LH-036 and a pair of ATH-A9X. For NT $880, the Gamaa headphones are about as good a sub-$1000 can get, if not better.

andhow: I think most record stores sale at least some models of Gamaa headphones. I believe LH-036 is Gamma's top-of-the-line model right now, and also the most popular (almost all record stores' CD listening stations use LH-036)

Gamma headphones may not be "audiophile" quality but for sub-$1000 it's simply the bomb. It can't go extremely loud, but under normal volume, the bass is quite deep and powerful. The treble is extremely clear, almost as clear as some of the titanium-plated headphones I've heard. The only thing that's lacking in the LH-036 seems to be the sound "warmth", because while the bass and the treble are strong, the mid-range is relatively a bit cold.

基本上只是因為gamma還算容易買到而已

我以前買過一支ratoe的rh-cd9
在中華路上的那家耗材零件店
記得是賣500左右吧
比聲音的話,沒比它好,至少也差不多
所以純比這兩支的cp值就甭說了

個人也覺得gamma耳機比較適合聽流行樂
特別是搖滾的
那種低音感真爽

用sr80聽搖滾樂感覺跟耳塞耳機沒兩樣
